Dr. Matthew Perchemlides, ND, FABNO, MSN, BSN
President and Owner of Integrative Care Formulas, LLC and Integrative Care Consulting, LLC
Having worked as a naturopathic physician in integrative care hospitals and clinics, I saw firsthand that, when physicians from conventional and naturopathic disciplines choose to put aside their doubts in favor of joining their respective expertise for the benefit of their patients, health outcomes improved tremendously. It is therefore my personal and professional mission to bring the benefits of integrative care to everyone who is experiencing cancer and other chronic diseases. ”
Dr. Perchemlides (“Dr. Perch”) is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician and a specialist in integrative medicine, including naturopathic oncology and chronic disease. He completed his medical training at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM), a four-year CNME accredited Naturopathic Medical School, where he graduated first in his class. While at UBCNM, Dr. Perch also earned a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition. Dr. Perchemlides went on to complete his integrative oncology training in a nationally recognized and CNME certified residency program at The Cancer Treatment Centers of America through Bastyr University.
Dr. Perch is a distinguished member of a very unique and still small group of naturopathic physicians who have achieved advanced specializations through a residency program. But Dr. Perch is unique even among naturopathic specialists because he has extensive experience in conventional medicine as well. He holds a nursing degree from the Boston College Connell School of Nursing , and before becoming a physician, he worked as a registered nurse in four nationally recognized hospitals. Dr. Perch therefore has a unique understanding of the science behind both conventional and natural medicine, and of how to integrate these two modalities to help those individuals who are facing chronic disease achieve optimal health.
Dr. Perch’s research credits include his doctoral thesis entitled Research-based Applications of CoEnzyme Q10 in Naturopathic Oncology. He also authored oncology treatment guidelines for physicians at the Yale-Griffin Integrative Medicine Center.
Dr. Perch belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians , the Society of Integrative Oncology, and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Dr. Perch believes that a world-wide revolution in the way healthcare is delivered must begin with the integrative care model. He has dedicated his decades of medical education and experience to this vision.
